How old do you have to be to rent with Denver Sports Rentals?

You must be 21 years or older to rent, 16 years old with valid drivers license to drive.

Do I have to make a reservation in advance?

Yes, we operate by appointment only.

Do you do guided tours?

We don't do guided tours. All of our equipment is for unguided adventures, you pick up and take our equipment to any destination you choose.

Do you require a damage deposit?

Yes, we require a damage deposit for all rentals. Your damage deposit is refunded back to you upon turning back in your rental equipment.

I don’t have a trailer, how do I transport our rental equipment to where we want to go?

f you have a tow vehicle we can provide you with a trailer to transport your equipment. If you also don't have a tow vehicle, no problem, we can provide you with both a tow vehicle and trailer.

Once we know where we want to ride, how do we know where to go and not get lost?

We will help you download Colorado's COTREX app on your smart device. COTREX is a very intuitive trail map application that provides continuous mapping even when your device looses network coverage.

What do we need to wear and what do you provide?

Dress accordingly depending on the season and type of activities you will participating in. If you will be riding in the high country it's always a good idea to take a jacket as even on the sunniest days the weather can change very quickly. We provide any safety gear needed to go with the equipment you will be renting.

Do you offer insurance? What if we damage the equipment while renting?

We do offer the option to purchase insurance for $45 per item rented, per day, with a $2,000 deductible. If you elect to purchase our insurance, no matter the extent of damages, the most you would pay out of pocket is $2,000. We highly recommend adding insurance to your rental.

Do campers come fully furnished? What do we need to bring?

All of our campers come fully furnished with bedding, bathroom towels, and kitchen essentials (pots & pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, coffee maker). We also include (4) outdoor camping chairs, leveling blocks, water hose, sewer hose and power adapters for different electrical hookups. For bunk model units we supply sleeping bags for all of the bunk beds. All you'll need to bring are your personal items.
